Acromag have proudly announced their latest PCIe-based AcroPack®modules, the AP500 Series. The boards offer up to eight RS232 or RS422/485
communication ports with 256-byte FIFO buffers to minimise CPU interaction for
improved system performance.
They
are an extended version of the mPCIe specification and feature a 100-pin
connector to handle the I/O. The modules plug into AcroPack® PCIe,
VPX or XMC carriers in any combination for embedded applications running on
Linux®, Windows®, or VxWorks® operating
systems.
